Breakthrough in Physics! Is this the so-called “Theory of Everything”?
What does it mean to the ordinary person if somebody tells him that Scientists have derived the Klein-Gordon equation out of the Einstein-Hilbert action?
To most it is just an equation, which was derived from something only a few experts have ever heard about.
But with just a few additional facts everybody, including you – my dear reader, will be able to grasp the scope of the finding. Here are those facts you are going to need in order to see:
The Klein-Gordon equation is just THE Quantum Equation!
The Einstein-Hilbert action is the thing you need to derive Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity!
An apparatus which gives birth to both, quantum equations and the Einstein’s theory, automatically is a Quantum Gravity Theory and thus, a Theory of Everything.
And now again: Scientists have derived the Klein-Gordon equation out of the Einstein-Hilbert action!
What does this logically mean?
Exactly, Scientist have obviously found the theory of everything!
So what do you think the consequences will probably be?
The Consequences?
Well, this is a Theory of Everything and they most likely gave the thing that name for a reason. So just use your imagination, let if fly and it will still not even remotely grasp what this is going to change / influence / disrupt / shake…
